On the slate this month:

- Discussion of the newest version of Linux Mint, which is a reworked and even easier-to-install version of Ubuntu. I’ll have CDs of LM 8 (Helena), which corresponds to Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic).

- More tweaks and comments about command-line tools.

- Unison vs. Rsync for synchronizing data between two computers or two disks.

- Using Kubuntu v4.4 beta instead of the default v4.3.

As usual, snacks and coffee will be available. I even promise the house will be warm.
