Linux Beginners, May 2010, Ubuntu 10.04

This month’s meeting of the LBSIG will be on Tuesday the 11th at the usual
time and place — 8109 Greenslope Drive, 6 PM informal and 7 PM presentation.
This month one obvious topic will be Ubuntu 10.04, aka Lucid Lynx. I’ll have
CDs available for common flavors.
I also want to demonstrate Calibre, which is THE program for conversion of
Ebook formats. (Calibre is a good example of open source, because it’s
written in Python and therefore runs on Linux, Windows, or OSX.)
I’ve also had a request to discuss the theory and practice of torrents, and
last month I never got around to showing a few ZSH features that will make you
switch from BASH.
