Evidently, the libraries will be closed until at least November 2020 so we’ll be meeting over Zoom for a while longer. If you would like to join the meeting but are not receiving the reminder emails then please call Kelly at 512-452-2811 to get on the list. You must join this mailing list in order to get the email with the link to join the meeting. I will not release your email address to others.

Topic: Quick File & Folder Backups to Thumb Drives:  Imaging is the best way to comprehensively back up your entire computer, i.e. Windows OS, apps, and data. But it can take up to an hour to do. We’ll demonstrate Backup Maker, a nifty file/folder backup program that can quickly back up a few important, frequently changing files or folders in a minute or less. This quickie method nicely complements regular imaging to give you thorough but also quick, convenient and up-to-date backup. We’ll also touch on Window’s built-in File History and Restore Previous Versions.
