Beginners’ SIG, November 14, 2020

November 14, 2020
10:00 amto12:00 pm

Topic: Smart Phones and Tablets:  We’ll introduce you to the basics of smart phones and tablet computers. You’ll learn how mobile wireless devices work, how to use the home screen and the User Interface (UI) to configure your device, manage and operate its apps (application software programs) and download additional apps. Our focus will be on Android devices but we’ll also discuss Apple iPhones and iPads which are preferred by many to Android devices but are actually quite similar. Come to this meeting and find out why these ubiquitous gizmos are so captivating and useful.

How to Attend: Due to the library shutdowns we have been meeting virtually via Zoom for the last several months. We still meet monthly at the regular time, 2nd Saturday mornings from 10a-12p. If you would like to join the Beginners SIG Zoom meeting please phone Kelly (the SIG leader) at 512-452-2811 to have your email placed on the BSIG mailing list.
